GIT 135: Graphic Communications // Assignment 2

In this project we had to create a pictograph for the people living in a time period and location of our choice. I chose the Age of Enlightenment in Europe. 

My idea was to create a pictograph to help people in this time to better understand the new ideas coming out about natural science, philosophy, and law. In this time period, the study of natural science became very important and started taking over previous religious beliefs. Religion no longer ran all ideologies, laws, and education. Rather, there was now a balance between religion and science. New philosophical ideas were being discussed, and the people started to push for reform in law, education, and society. My pictograph was made to make all of these new ideas make more sense to the common local of this time.
